Semiconductor
The semiconductor industry has an urgent demand for reliability testing equipment because of its high product integration and demanding application scenarios. In automotive electronics, aerospace equipment and other scenarios, chips need to withstand extreme temperatures (-55°C~ 125°C), humidity, vibration and other environments, and unstable performance will lead to equipment failure. The testing equipment can simulate high temperature and humidity (such as 85°C/85% RH), temperature cycling (-40°C~ 125°C), salt spray corrosion and other working conditions, and find defects such as package cracking, solder joint failure, and oxide layer breakdown in advance. For example, the HAST (Highly Accelerated Stress Test) is used to verify the moisture resistance of the chip, and the vibration test is used to detect internal pin looseness. At the same time, the equipment needs to meet industry standards such as JEDEC and AEC-Q to ensure long-term reliable operation of the chip in 5G, Internet of Things and other fields, and avoid huge recall losses caused by failure.
